The Company's investment manager is PSC Eaglewood Europe LLP ("PSC Eaglewood Europe" or the "Investment Manager"). PSC Eaglewood Europe is a London based asset manager specialising in the alternative credit space and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. PSC Eaglewood Europe is responsible for the management of the assets of the Company.
The Investment Manager has delegated certain of its responsibilities and functions, including its discretionary management of the Company's portfolio of credit assets, to Pollen Street Capital (US) LLC (“Pollen Street Capital (US) LLC” or the "Sub-Manager"). Pollen Street Capital (US) LLC, founded in 2011, is an affiliate of the Investment Manager and an SEC-registered* investment advisor based in New York. *Registration with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) does not imply a certain level of skill or training.
Biographies of the key personnel of the Investment Manager and the Sub-Manager involved in the provision of services to the Company are as follows:
William has been investing in public and private markets since 2004 and is a partner at Pollen Street Capital. Prior to re-joining the Pollen Street team in 2017, William began his career with the team at RBS in 2007 when it managed the £1.1bn Special Opportunities Fund and was responsible for evaluating and executing private equity and opportunistic credit investments. William has also spent 17 years with Citigroup, managing the European special situations and structured finance businesses investing in both debt and equity.
William received his degree in economics from Babson College, graduating with academic honours, before attending Columbia University’s Real Estate Development and Finance program.
Paul joined Pollen Street in 2018 to head up the Real Estate efforts for the group. Paul joined from M&G Investments where he created the senior commercial mortgage finance group. Since transferring to London in 1996, Paul has been active in the European commercial mortgage market. In the mid-90s Paul spent six years at Citi/Salomon Brothers establishing their European Real Estate Securitisation group before moving to Goldman Sachs where he co-founded the European Commercial Property Finance Department. Paul also worked at Barclays Capital where he focused on building Barclays Capital’s continental European lending platform.
Paul received his M.B.A. in Finance and Investments and a Master of Science specialising in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Development from the University of Wisconsin.
Michael is a partner of Pollen Street Capital and joined the team in 2006. Michael has extensive experience of private equity and credit investing. He has focused on the payments and technology sectors in recent years along with the lending segments. Mike currently has responsibility for Visionblue and Foreign Currency Direct with previous responsibility for Link Loans, Target, Moneycorp and Cashflows..
Prior to joining the team, Michael spent three years at OC&C Strategy Consultants, focusing on strategy and private equity projects across a range of industries. He has a First-Class degree in Chemistry from Oxford University and went on to complete a masters’ degree in carbohydrate chemistry.
Howard is a Partner of Pollen Street Capital having re-joined the team in 2015 having left in 2012. Prior to 2012 he was a Partner in the team where he started in 2000. Howard is focused on investing in credit opportunities and financial services businesses with current responsibility for BIK and Deko as well as a number of credit investments including, Caledonian Finance, 3J Finance, Credit Step and Sancus. Howard was previously responsible for Banca Sistema and Arrow Global.
Prior to re-joining the Pollen Street team in 2015, Howard assisted the Swedish credit institution Hoist Finance to enter the UK debt collecting and npl debt purchasing sector, supporting the acquisition of a number of UK companies and debt portfolios in both a structuring and operational role. Howard has a 1st class honours degree in Mathematics from University College London.
Ian is a partner of Pollen Street Capital and joined the team in 2007. He has focused on insurance, payments and a range of credit businesses. Ian is currently responsible for Miles Smith and Cashflows together with credit investments in a number of loan portfolios. Previous responsibility for Arrow Global and Catalina Re.
Prior to joining the team, Ian worked at OC&C Strategy Consultants. Ian is an economist by background with a First Class Honours degree in Economics from London School of Economics and an Mphil in Economics with distinction from Cambridge University.

Lindsey founded Pollen Street Capital in 2013 and is the managing partner as well as chairman of the investment committee.
Lindsey has been a private equity investor for more than 20 years with a particular focus on the Financial Services sector. Before she founded Pollen Street Capital, Lindsey led the team managing the £1.1bn Special Opportunities Fund within RBS and also spent six years as a Partner at Cabot Square Capital, focusing on operating investments in real estate and other asset backed investments, together with investments in the financial services sector.
Lindsey serves as non-executive director of a number of portfolio companies including Shawbrook Bank, Cashflows Europe and Bidx1.
She has a First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance and studied for an MPhil in Finance from Strathclyde University.
Outside of work Lindsey is a keen runner having successfully completed the Marathon Des Sables in 2007 and 2011. She also supports a number of charities with a particular focus on mentoring children in state schools and a number of projects in Africa.
Matthew is a partner of Pollen Street Capital and joined the team in 2009. He has focussed on investing in operating companies and credit opportunities across a range of lending markets. Mathew has current responsibility for Shawbrook and 1st Stop Group together with a number of credit investments including a GE portfolio, EzBob and Amicus with previous responsibility for Capitalflow.
Prior to joining the team, Matthew qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and spent four years in their Corporate Finance Department focusing on mid-market transactions. He has a First-Class Honours degree in Economics and Finance from Bristol University.
James is a partner of Pollen Street Capital and has been with the team since 2004. Over the last ten years James has been investing in credit opportunities and financial services businesses. James is focussed on origination for both credit and private equity with current responsibility for Capitalflow, Visionblue, Miles Smith, Bidx1, Green Deal Finance Company and JaJa with previous responsibility for Krunch, Spring, Target and Shawbrook.
Prior to joining the team, James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, worked for E&Y in an IT consulting role, as a commercial director for a software engineering firm and in structured debt working for RBS. James has a degree in History and Politics from Exeter University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
